What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a complete system of health care, looking at the whole person. A Naturopath follows six foundational principles in practice:
The healing power of nature.
First do no harm.
Find and treat the cause whenever possible, not only the symptoms.
Treat the whole person.
All Naturopaths may practice differently, depending on their area of specialty.
Brooke favours nutrition (first and foremost!), herbal medicine, supplements, meditation and lifestyle changes for sustainable long term results.
Brooke conducts a consultation involves a comprehensive look at all your health symptoms, health history, reviews or requests blood tests, assesses diet and lifestyle influences, and ask questions about all body systems, from mental to bowel health! After the consultation Brooke may then recommend different treatment options for your specific needs. This may include including herbal medicine, nutrition, supplements, meditation and lifestyle adjustments as required to achieve the best outcomes.
Brooke has found the ongoing cost of supplements can be prohibitive and unsustainable to take long term, therefore Brooke offers discounts on supplements ordered through her directly and favours food as medicine.
